AWCWA Celebrating Women's History Month
The Association of Women Construction Workers of America (AWCWA) is set to host its 10th Annual Industry Awards "Recognizing Women In Construction" on March 31st, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency JFK in partnership with Resorts World NYC. This event not only celebrates Women's History Month but also honors outstanding women in the construction and related industries. The awards aim to recognize and support women leaders, owners, executives, and tradeswomen who are making significant contributions to the construction sector. This year, the event will also serve as a fundraising platform to support "Building Success with AWCWA," a pre-apprenticeship program designed to educate and empower women, youth, justice-involved individuals, and veterans in the construction industry, and generate significant financial support through sponsorships and scholarships.
